    BobbyMac,

Where did you get that license plate frame? I want a curved plate mount like yours. Thanks for the info.

I bought one of Shayne's plates and the thing is awesome. It is made out of aluminum and then highly polished.... beautiful craftmanship and very reasonably priced. Even his welds look good on the back of the plate All you have to do is mark the holes for your license plate and drill them out. Here is a link to his website where you can buy them:

I chose to mount mine differently than he suggested. I used the useless shock bolt that is on our hub which allowed me to keep using the spike I had to cover up the axle. Here is what I used to mount it (I did have to enlarge the hole on the plate to use this):

As far as horsepower I do not know what it would make on a motorcycle dyno. I put the map in it and made a few quick pulls on my automotive chassis dyno to check air fuel(showed a little rich) and made close to 130 with stock pipes. To be honest my bike was down for so long with trying to get all of my gears for the tranny and then sending them off to be undercut I was ready to ride. Once I get a pipe that I like I will spend a good bit more time tuning it. I figure close to 140 with a good pipe. It is in the midrange where this bike is wicked, from 4000 on up it is a beast. I am very happy with the results and James was very good at answering my questions when I was putting it together.
Assuming you got the street/strip cams your safe to say your in the mid to high 130's for sure. I am running the street/strip cams, heads and it was at around 137 hp but now I also have the pistons and it jumped up to around 145hp. With the nitrous it's priceless!!!!

Hey Luck06, nice machine you got there! I couldnt help in notice that you only have one brake disk in front.
Did you had any issues fitting the custom wheels to your 9? Hub problems?
On the HP, are you pulling 145 with nitrous? If so What's you HP without it?

The hub was a special cut for that right side to fit that wheel. When you remove that front caliper you have to fill that void. I've had no problems with the one side setup, it took a little time to get use to but not long at all.

The 145hp is without the nitrous. With Nitrous I'm somewheres between 175-180hp!!!!!!!!

Your's is one of my favorite bikes on here and I'm not just saying that.

What else are you gonna black out?

Can I give my opinion? It's 98% perfect as it is. If you did the front forks & calipers, passenger pegs, mirrors and dark tint your rear taillight it would be perfect IMO. I wouldn't black out any of the red. Again it's awesome as is, but I know the mod bug just won't ever let anything go!

I should have my black rims installed within the next couple of weeks so I'm pretty excited about that. Can you tell me exactly what you used to prime/paint the rear hub because I want to try to do that myself.

    Thanks for the great complement.

That is exactly what I am doing right now. Trees, forks, calipers, pegs, switch housings, and maybe the mirrors.

As far as the rear hub, the guy that painted the bike for me did the hub. I would use self etching primer, rattle can black and clear. You should be good to go with that.

I was actually looking at the dark tint paint today for the taillight. Maybe later.

Your bike will look great with the black wheels. Are they being powdercoated?

Ok Cool. Yeah I'm gonna try to paint it myself. If it doesn't turn out good enough I'll get it professionally painted.

Yep the extra set of rims from L.T.T. are on there way and as soon as I get them off to the powdercoaters they go!

While the chromers are polishing we'll be out riding!

Your bike will look even more sinister with the extra black your doing.

I believe that people have a right to decide their own destinies; people own themselves. I also believe that, in a democracy, government exists because (and only so long as) individual citizens give it a 'temporary license to exist'—in exchange for a promise that it will behave itself. In a democracy, you own the government—it doesn't own you. ~Frank Zappa
