Looks awesome...how much did it end up being for the headlight in CAD?

It was brutal..... the initial purchase of $750US for everything came to $1000cdn.... then shipping cost of $70US came to another $90cdn..... then today was another $140cdn for duty

So basically I spent $1230 on lights..... brutal.... but they look so awesome lol

I need to do the Flatz and the under fender signals. Already have a clear tail light, just want another brake light with surn signals under the fender. I've ordered from Mean Cycles a few times, never been any problems.

The weird part about my under fender lights, the turn signals would not work when the brake light was on.... I just cut the wire that gives the knight rider the brake light signal so I at least have turn signals, which was the main reason for the purchase in the first place

Mainly what I'm after as well, just the turn signals. So I can get rid of the lollipops.

Nice job on everything! I'm thinking about getting those Flatz. How was it installing them?

I thought it was easy, remove the headlight (had to come off anyway to install the revo light) the factory turn signals are held on by one screw each, I cut the connectors off to wire onto the blinker genie (comes with the FLATZ so they run properly, one per side) wired everything up accordingly and theyíre held on by 2 sided tape

Looking good! Were rocking the same mods ! I went with the Chrome Glow undertail though because it's a running light/brake and amber turn signals all in one. The Revo doesn't do that.

Do you find the Flatz bright? I was kinda disappointed with them in direct sunlight. Plus I gotta figure out why my blinker indicators are dimly lit on the dash after Flatz install

This happened to me because I had the ground and running light wires connected to the flatz mixed up. When I swapped them, the glowing indicators went away.

After I bought the knight rider, I found the chrome glow you have, which I honestly like a lot more since you donít see the individual LEDís like on my knight rider.... so I do plan to buy the chrome glow at a later date and sell the knight rider, (or hang onto it in case I ever buy another 9) lol

The guys Iíve been riding with tell me when Iím following them, they canít see the FLATZ past the headlight, at night theyíre somewhat visible but overall Iím disappointed theyre not brighter

I donít have the dim indicator light problem you describe though, mind arenít working exactly as I expected them too.... after the LED flasher was installed as well of course lol

Since I love the clean look of the FLATZ Iím going to keep them, but I want my signals to be seen, so Iím going to add these mirrors

WOW! Someone got an early Christmas - congrats on the purchases, all quality desirable mods!

The brake/turn issue is a known issue with the Revo kit - not sure why he has not yet addressed it in his programming. Revo's lights all have "brake light override" - so you can never signal when stopped as the brake light will take over. Unfortunate, because that would be a big benefit - just allow the turn signal to override the brake - he has that logic backwards.

If you feel like wiring up a transistor and some diodes, you could build an "A && !B" circuit on the brake line where A=Brake+12V and B=Turn+12V. In English, it says: "A AND (NOT B)". This would flash RED-TURN-RED-TURN... Would look like this:
    Code:
BRAKE TURN / !TURN OUTPUT TO REVO BRAKE WIRE
    ----- ---- ----- -------------------------
ON ON / OFF OFF (Brake+Turn = NO Brake)
ON OFF / ON ON (Brake alone = Brake!)
OFF ON / OFF OFF (Turn alone = NO Brake)
OFF OFF / OFF OFF (Nothing = Nothing)
But cutting the line is probably WAY easier... (at cost of no Revo brake response)

As much as Iím intrigued by adding diodes etc to make the system work as I want it too, I like the cleaner look of the chrome glow.... just wish I would have seen it before buying the knight rider lol but itís still a cleaner look than the factory signals so Iím still happy with it overall

I just received the same headlight. I am ok with just wiring the halo to the low beam which is on all the time, but which wire in the headlight harness is the low beam?

White wire on the headlight connector is Low Beam 12vdc +

Yellow wire is High Beam 12vdc +

Black with White tracer is 12vdc -

(This is referring to female portion of the headlight connector on bike side, I have no idea if the wire colors are the same on male connector of the Revo headlight)

Thanks! I want to splice into the headlight side rather than the bike side so I hope it is safe to assume that the plug configuration will get me to where I want!

Use a volt meter or test light to confirm which wires is which on your bike first.... that way thereís minimal room for error

It only plugs in one way, so what ever wire on the male side line up with the white wire on the female side will be the one you want.

BCS, things didn't quite go as expected so I hope you or the OP can shed some light on this for me, pun intended!
I spliced the red wire from the halo ring into the low beam wire on the headlight harness (male connector side wire that lines up white wire on female bike side harness). When I turned the bike on with low beam, the halo responded as expected...halo ring lit up along with the three horizontal lights in the middle.
When I switched to hi beam, the low beam lights stayed on same as before splicing, the high beam lights come on but the halo ring goes out.
Unless my eyes are playing a trick on me and the three low beam lights are actually off as well but it is difficult to tell with the reflection of the high beam lights, I cant' figure out why the halo ring would go out. I was expecting the halo to be on all the time.

    Thoughts?

When you go to high beam you no longer have 12vdc on the white wire so the halo ring will no longer have voltage to it. (You can confirm this with an electrical meter (tester) if you like)

If you want the Halo ring on all the time then you need to splice it into a circuit that is "Hot" all the time when the ignition (key) is on.
(The running light circuit in the headlight bucket may be a good candidate for this. (Green or Orange/Green wire depending on which side of the connector you are looking at)
