The 240 doesn't appear to lean very well.

I'm new to this message board, but came by your pics of the 200 front tire. Looks great! Question... how did it affect the handling of the bike for you? Also, I'd love to hear the details of the installation.... was it just a simple as popping one wheel off and another one on?

Hello Josegalarza,
Thank you for sharing your information with the Forum. I am/was very impressed with what you have accomplished with your M109R. I have a few questions I would like to ask, if you don't mind. Where did you acquire the 6.25" wheel from? Is it a modified M109R stock front wheel, or is it an aftermarket wheel? Also, your front fender looks as if it may be a modified stock front fender, mounted with the use of front fender extenders. Is that correct?
Over 10 years ago, I was heavily contemplating going with a 200 front tire and 300 rear tire setup. I gave up on the 200 front tire idea, because I could never confirm what modifications, if any, would be required for the forks on the bike, to make it all work properly and safely. I also became discouraged, because I was sure I would have to purchase a totally different aftermarket set of triple trees, and find some company that could/would create a custom front fender to fit properly with the aftermarket or new triple trees, the wider and taller 200 front tire, and wider front wheel. I would love to do this 200 tire setup on my 14' model M109R, which I am currently in the process of finalizing all of my mods and upgrades for.
Any information/assistance you can provide to me on the 200 front tire, 6.25" front wheel, and front fender modifications would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Bobby
