I'll throw my experience with Joe out here as well as a few pics.... It was nothing short of fantastic! From beginning to end he kept me in on the entire process just like I was right there at each...
I was using that cover back when I had my Big Shots on with no problems but I did away with the useless actuator and pulled the ECU pin :bigthumbsup:

Well mine was pinched where the scotch locks (PC3) crimped on at the lead wire to the tps plug, but if youve had the bike torn down that far so many times it could be anywhere along the main wiring...

Mine had identical symptoms last summer and wound up being a pinched wire to the TPS sensor (which was my fault) but its not totally unreasonable to think it could be TPS related. The service manual...
