I ran over something never knew what it was had stock rear tire went flat shortly there after limped to a gas station the good thing about the wide tire was that it spread out and protected the rim...
The only difference to me is that the oil level can very 30 seconds one way or the other with the 15/3 but the cold check is consistent!

I remove the clips across the front and use tiny stainless tie wire at top corners and...

I run 20-50 it shifts a little smoother .
Some will say no but to turn hard over to one side like parking there will be some pulling if u don't u can get away with just unbolting the brake line bracket and let it float .
It's always good to buy newer if the budget allows I have a 06 no issues bought it new17000 mi just don't be surprised if u buy new that you may still have a 2nd gear clunk mine smoothed out around...
Run up on them all the time up in North Georgia when in the mountains they will get your attention when that wheel hops a couple inches one side or the other !

If I end up getting a nice kick stand some day I was thinking I would use some 3m or some type of epoxy and glue a thin strip of rubber to the bottom side never can keep up with those pads the truth...

I have had kewl metal risers garage kept chrome has been poor from year 2 on I don't think you could do any worse going with the knock offs !

Dommy man you have a strange one there I used to weld aluminium rims different types of repairs from road damage and such mostly on aluminium car rims if your rim is cracked under the powder coat it...
:agree:Some things get better with age our transmitions do shift better as you hit 15k or so as far as our bodys not so much!
I as well as a lot of members here mount the horn behind the right side cover I bolted it through the tool kit holder & added a couple zip ties to stop any jiggle been scaring the crap out of people...
