If the spacer is still in between the 2 bearings then that's a bonus....you won't need to buy anything.
I have done this mod. First off.... the only parts you need off the 109 are the rim and the spacer that goes between the bearings. The bearings and the dust seal and all other parts are the same on...
Your shifter is too tight if it won't return to center. I had the same problem when I added the gman bushing. I over torqued it and it was binding. I read the gman instructions after and he had...
my first Street bike as well. loving every moment and not selling anytime soon. Welcome to the forum
Did you find the cure
Just ordered a pair for mine at a local autoparts dealer. $85. Canadian for pair
send me your email in a pm and I will send you some pics so you will have an idea what to do
Awesome idea, would have never thought of that. Will dig through my spare parts bin tomorrow and give it a whirl.
I am looking for the chrome axle cap tor my 2009 M90. It is the one for the rear axle on the left side....clicks in to the 19mm hex socket hole. I have searched high and low. Can anyone help?
Greetings from port coquitlam. I would just take it back to the dealer and make them fix it!!!!
Yes it is a dust seal but suzuki lists it as a bearing seal. There are 2 bearings on the drive side and no seal. On the brake disc side there is one bearing and a dust seal. I have spent the 30 bux...
Just a tip to pass along to those that work on their own bikes. Instead of 25 mm hex socket you can purchase a connecting nut from Home depot. Insert in axle and turn with a wrench. $5 tool.
Followed your advice and it came apart and went back together like a dream. Now I am at a stand still because whoever I got the rim from took out the bearing seal on the spacer side. No dealers open...
All parts are exactly the same. This helps immensely, Thank you!
Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to remove the cush drive rubbers from the M90 rim so I can put them in my M109 rim?
No need for special tool. Here is a cheap fix. Off to home Depot . $4.89 for a 2 inch long 15/16th outside width -connecting nut, part # 2627. Insert in slot in axle (nice tight fit) . Loosen axle...
I prefer these forums over FB because this is specific. You don't have to scan through all the crap to see what you want.
Pretty ridiculous that they ding you so bad for the cowl. I just ordered one from Suzuki Canada for my M90 for $79.00 canadian and free shipping. Color matched as well. You may want to try Suzuki USA.
I got my 109 rear rim but it looks like I may need to replace the tire. What tire are you running on your M90 with 109 rim?
I searched for a month or so before I found a 5 spoke. Considered getting a 6 spoke but knew I couldn't live with a mismatch. Once I found a five spoke I received 3 or 4 more offers on a 5...
Thank you for responses. I have found one and ordered it!
Thanks, I am looking for the 5 spoke and have verified that. One question for deputy .... I am a little confused as to the 109 part I need. I am hearing spacer, bearing spacer....etc. Would you...
I have the opportunity to purchase an M109 rim for my M90. The seller has taken all the bearings, seals and everything else off the rim to use on his new chrome rims. My question is could I buy the...
Looking for a 109 rear rim for my 2009 M90. It has to be a 5 spoke. SenD me a pm.
Thanks in advance.
I take it that those are the lamellar extra large ones. Are thethey the painted black ones or the leather wrapped? I can not tell.
I have not seen a blue cowel for sale in the last year or so. My suggestion is to buy one and have it color match painted.
The bra I used was authentic suzuki part. I just removed the seat and the guage bezel and installed as Instructed. I will look at it tomorrow and see if I can snap a few pics to show you.
