Is there something I can do to these risers, so they don't flex forwards and backwards? They're fine from side to side.
I'm gonna try and keep my "C" as long as I can. I'm gonna get the seat recovered with memory foam, I'm installed some nice highway pegs. I'm gonna get some Cobra Fatty bars, so
it can only fall...
I agree and that's why I'm going to start her off on a Yamaha TW200 trail riding which is a much less hostile environment compare to the street. I can find the TW200 used all day long, off course...
yea, 55 is a bit old to start out on a crotch rocket....LOL!!! I think she's decided that she want's me to get a trike for my bike or buy a bike that already is a trike.
she doesn't want a crotch rocket, she wants a cruiser.
I've been looking at it and I'm gonna take the wife to check one out. What about the Scout Sixty?
we can't ride in the National Forest down here during hunting season. I can't ride all year. I'm Florida born and raised, so when it get's below 70 degrees, it's to cold for me.
I think to begin with I'm going to put her in a safer environment, like riding trails in the forest until she gets more experience. So, if she passes her safety course and passes her written test to...
Not very fast. Isn't that about a 1600-1700 cc bike. If it's not very fast, then I don't want a Victory. Besides that is a little big for a beginner bike.
In Florida, you have to take the motorcycle safety course on a bike they furnish, usually a 250 rebel. Then after you pass the safety course, you take your certificate to the DMV and take your...
we are just looking for now. It will all depend on how she does during the safety course. She may decide that she doesn't want to ride a bike after all. She sat on a Yamaha Bolt yesterday and...
There is, but he used 16" ape hangers, which require getting longer cables. I want ape hangers that don't require longer cables.
The size of the engine isn't the biggest issue. She's only 5'4", so it will need a low seat height and available aftermarket parts, for windshield, risers, lowering kit and floorboards, if needed. ...
If I was to run off and leave her, then I might as well keep going, because she would shoot me when I got home......:joke:
I was thinking the C50T or the Honda Shadow 750. She sat on a Honda Shadow 750 today and liked the way it felt. She had on flats and was able to put her feet flat on the ground, so with motorcycle...
I know that a beginner bike for her won't actually keep up with my C, but I want to get her something that won't struggle to cruise at 65-75mph.
What size ape hangers can I get without needing new cables? I'm thinking 10 inch to go with my Gman risers and stock risers.
My wife wants to get her license next year. What's a good beginner bike that can keep up with my C109 without straining?
a friend of mine had one made for his yamaha without floorboards and it works great. I love mine on m C, I'll never own another bike without it.
I don't, because I have an aluminum ATV jack with a 1500lb capacity, but I did use my floor jack and a 2x4 to jack it up to adjust my shock setting, because my ATV jack was in the way.
Good, that means I don't have to spend any extra money on top of the dual exhaust.
You always use a 2x4 on top of your floor jack. Have the 2x4 running from left to right and put the floor under the center of the 2x4.
I already have a GMan Bully Fuel Programmer. Will this work with the Road Burner exhaust or should I get the PowerCommander EX?
