sweet thanks for posting them up man.
These are 5 pics of a time lapse shot showing the progression of going through one of the curves from the Dragon on last Friday's group ride.
very nice GR! i like the fact that your wife looks through the turn as well, you can tell that she rides. did you guys ever get her a replacment bike yet??
No doubt. The two of you seemed to react, and act as one on that bike. That was some very impressive 2 up riding that you were doing. Next time I may have to take the saddle bags off just to see if I can keep you two in my sights;). I doubt if it will help, but I can always dream.
These are from the Total Control Advance Riding clinic. You can go through a curve VERY fast on a M109 provided you get the proper body positioning. These pics are not even close to being the optimal position; you should actually lean much further in on a tight corner. I'm getting the ones that are 100% Attachment 383724Attachment 383726later but you can get the general idea. I suggest taking courses, lots of them and get the pros to teach you how to handle your bike like a master. I sure will continue to.
I can scrape at will, full lock and scrape pegs in a slow parking lot too. All of these techniques are not easy and take practice. Question is, how good do you want to be? All of Total Control Advance techniques apply to ANY bike, sport, touring, cruisers, etc.
This is our lean angle Trust me you shouldnt go any farther .one would hit back of mufflers
and would end up injured!
5 days in the Smoky Mountains cost me a rear tire, both scrapers, and some paint on the underside of my bike. Theres no way I could ever lower this thing cause I'm scraping in every decent curve.
Just replaced rear tire with a Michelin Commander II, tread profile is rounder. After one ride I can tell it turns-in better, and I'm not on the edge of the tire.
Ordered titanium scrapers also, so let the light show begin :pop:
Nice. No chicken strips there
Picture doesn’t do it justice until you realize contact IS being made and pipe is no longer round...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fa7926c736.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5a46decfa7.jpg
Same. But I sanded it out and regularly polish with Autosol to keep the rust off ithttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...eb84bd8d52.jpg
