I rode my first 109 for six years and more than 20000 miles. Like most of the enthusiasts, I started to refit my ride from the most obvious parts, e.g. mirror, backrest, foot pegs…etc. There weren’t so many choices back at the time, and almost all the accessories are manufactured by Suzuki Accessories or DLP. As you know, human’s desire can be quite infinite. When I started to have some acquaintance with this ride, I couldn’t be contented with its speed; therefore, I came up with the idea of changing the exhaust. Consequently, me and my two fellow enthusiasts ordered a 2-in-1 exhaust from an American owner, which turned out to be a disaster. We hadn’t learned anything back since the day we ordered and we had been waited for half a year. Luckily, we were managed to trace the money back with the help of the bank. Hence, this has been the reason why I created the REVO CANNON Exhaust System. By the way, I have a ten-year cooperation relationship with an OEM exhaust factory that previously developed the exhaust for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

The exterior of 109 resembles a big, muscular guy just like Hulk in the Marvel Comics; therefore, I hope that the exhaust could make a super bass sound similar to Hulk’s roar. We tried out five or six different types of muffler designs, even the ones on EVO, Impreza, Civic Type R, Yoshimura super bike…etc., but it just sounded awful in 109’s V Twin engine. Then we decided to go back to square one, using the most original elimination methods to find out the best formula for Cannon, including the thickness of the muffler body and circumference in order to perform the super bass sound. Interestingly, we didn’t have much fund to develop the front pipe at that time; all we could do is to buy the stock exhaust on eBay or forum to modify. Added up with our muffler and eventually, it became our first generation of Cannon exhaust. It has been seven years since then, and there have been plenty of our 109 exhausts dashing on the street.
