Well.......Update on how it went....Who won.....Who came home with a lighter wallet? How was the rides? DETAILS Guys and Gals!!!!

I went with some VTX rider friends.
We had a good time. We made it a good time.

IMO attendance was way down this year.
I think that since they changed the dates (last year was the first year it was changed) the whole event is suffering.
The entertainment on Fremont St. was pretty bad.
The Grand prize drawing was scheduled for 9:00pm (2 hours earlier than in the past) and was to be held inside the Golden Nugget, Big mistake, what a cluster fk. Everyone was sent outside, then Dunno who won.
Not as many bikes on Fremont St. on Saturday, although there were some real nice bikes. Vendor Village was still fun to walk through, still heavily geared towards HD.
Had a nasty Dust storm roll trough on Saturday night and a little rain.

Anyway, like I said, we made it a good time. Great ride both ways, just a little windy, great friends, hung out and partied

We had a great ride down, and back up. Missed the rain for the most part both ways, luckily.
This was the first year I went, so I can't really compare, but I really enjoyed it. The poker run on Saturday was a blast, particularly the ride up and back from Mt. Charleston.
Didn't lose much, cause I didn't play much.
I did realize how badly I need a gel seat (and maybe a windshield, eventually).
Next year we need to spend more time down there, and we need to get more 9s in the group.
