    Default Another Wobble Problem

Metzler ME880's with about 3000 miles on them and no unusual wear pattern. The wobble happens only on decel starting at 40 mph down to 30 mph.About a 1000 miles ago I replaced the top piece of the steering head that was cosmetically damaged and was very careful to reinstall the the part exactly as the other came off and do not recall any wobble after the install.I have taken the weight off of the front wheel and can not detect any play in the head bearings.

Put 56 psi in the front tire and try it, you may have another of those metz wobblers ive been hearing about, Eliminate the tire by over airing it, and btw, i always run my 150 up front at 56psi, always.

From 40-30 mph decel I can't see this having anything to do with the tire..I have 50K on the 880's,42 psi is the magic #..

Maybe double check the steering head again and make sure that one of the front brakes aren't stickin
