The MAKO is the most recent addition to the TORC brand. The Mako is a type of shark. It is the fastest species of shark. It is recognizes by it's body lines. It is rounded with a pointed nose. It is because of these identifying traits that the MAKO T14 was aptly named.
The MAKO replaces both the Prodigy and Blade shells. It is lighter weight that both previous models. It uses a dual density EPS system and it features laser contoured liner padding. Looks good but.....

    Try an Aria

Been wearing one since I was 16 and I won't tell you when that was cause I'm still 29

Snell rating which is for racing not just DOT which is a joke

They're expensive but at our age we don't need anymore head damage

That's why I always go full face helmet. I don't have the nicest face in the world, but I've gotten used to it and I don't think pavement is going to make it any better.

    Well got new helmet.
    Visor up and down=0k
    Blue tooth hookup = Easy
Old red neck got Blue tooth and radio working= From couch.
Helmet size XL= Way small front to back./ Tight. I could see where I could buff that location a 1/8" front and back on foam to fix.But
Bike night time to test helmet.
    Will report back after test.

That's a lot of features for the money. After buying online from Leatherup, I found that there's no standard for sizing. I bought 2 helmets from Leatherup at different times. Same brand, but the 2nd one was too small even though it was branded the same. They allowed one free exchange. I suggested that the sizing should be the same and lecturing someone for buying the wrong size was improper considering it was the same brand and the sizing chart they provide isn't accurate. I would like to see some more opinions.

When you do things right, people won't be sure you did anything at all.

Blue tooth good. Easy to use. Sizing sucks. Not good at all. All else good. Nice helmet. But size is very important.
