The paint shop couldn't match it by code?

Or is that not stock color?

Looks nice!! I was thinking about putting the v stream back on but I didn't want to block everyone view of the mini apes

i think you'd be safe putting it back on. The vstream just covers the headlight and tach housings

I've always liked the shields clear. I guess it's to late to go back now?

Took it to a clients shop that do nothing but High end vehicles. I explained to him how difficult it is to match this color. He was sure he could with a color matching/reading laser system they use. WRONG!!!!!! Can't be too mad, he did it for free and will repaint it with the Color Rite paint.

It still looks good and you can still see the apes. I think it needs a wider fairing up front. The Stream painted makes the bike look narrow up front.

It's just my opinion, your apes and lines of it all looks so good with the bike, I can see the LOVE, with a clear shield a person can see all that from every angle, the chrome and everything, A bat wing is even worse, may as well have kept the stock bars. I just got one shiny bit on my bars and there's no way I want to hide it behind a shield, it's bad enough I have to use my bike purse on the bars at times.

I get what you're saying but you can still see the bars from the riders side. It is a lot of chrome and it looks almost as good as it feels riding my bike now. So much more comfy for me.

That's true, fair enough, I look forward to your finished shield.

With ape hangers, the batwing won't line up with the grips. It might not look good and definitely won't deflect air from your knuckles. Nice mod though.

When you do things right, people won't be sure you did anything at all.
