Okay, so I have been reading about the amazing TRE and am thinking I should get one to smooth out the lower gears.
I have a 2007 so I don't need the X-TRE and I could not care less about a gear indicator. I would just have to figure out where to put it and I really can't be bothered.
I have the Cobra Swepts, Holley intakes, PC III but since putting on the new Holley's I also think I should take it in to be dyno'd as it isn't running as smoothly as before.
So here are my questions:
1. Can I buy one in Canada? Seems the stores only talk X-TRE now because they have not needed to carry the TRE for a number of years.
2. What brand do I want? Found a few on E-Bay but since I'm clueless about this I wouldn't be able to spot a good one from one where a guy stuck a few wires together with some chewing gum he had handy.
3. How much should I be looking at spending? I see them from $50 - $100 What's the difference if any?
4. when I go on the Healtech site and select the ATRE it asks me at one point if I want red or blue?? WTF??
Help me brothers and sisters and thanks in advance.

I got one from Track Day Electronics earlier this year or late last year...I can't remember. I was very pleased with the customer service (the guy was easy to get in touch with and answered my questions promptly) and it's hard to beat the price...less than $40 shipped to me in the lower 48. So far I've been pleased.
Bob, I also purchased my TRE from Track Day Electronics. Great price and fast shipping. Install was a breeze and it definitely smoothed out gears 1-3. No more jerky throttle inputs when cruising at low rpms. It was a nice upgrade, although I would disagree with the members on here that say it's "the greatest thing ever invented". It's a good, effective mod. Definitely worth $35.

I live in Toronto and have bought 100% of the custom parts online or when I take a trip to the US. I buy my oil (Shell Rotella Synth) & filter from Wal-Mart in the US. I got my pipes online from Florida.
I noticied a BIG DIFFERENCE in that herky jerky 1, 2, 3 after installing it.
Also starting using Amisol 10/40 synthetic oil and got rid of that clunky too.
IMHO Only!
