    Default Mushroom plugs.

Well guys for those of u that are wondering how good those plugs are , well i purchase my 9 with 800 miles from a gentleman in nj. After putting roughly 10k miles, it was time for a new rear tire . Upon removing the rear tire i notice it had a mushroom plug. Now keep in mind i am the type of guy that goes thru the whole pre ride checks. Tire pressure was always steady. And i tell u i rode that bike hard in excess of well over 100 miles an hour. My opinion, its a great product to have .

Life is good in "Chef" land, it's paying the bills! The 9 has come a long way since you last saw it, 2 different custom paint jobs to be exact. I was going to buy one of these kits I just didn't know which one I should get. You carry a mini compressor on your bike?

Should I get the kit with the compressor in the link or get just the standard kit and then the dlp compressor?

Giddy, I use these type of plugs through my shop. It is the best option next to a patch/plug combo system. With this type, the tire need not come off. Talk to STLTGR, Ben, it saved him big time earlier this year and he has a CO2 kit. I use a non-CO2 kit in the shop.

Thanks Matt! My question is which kit should I buy? They have a kit with a compressor, a kit with co2, and a basic kit. T-bone uses the dlp compressor. I was thinking ordering the kit from the above link with the compressor would be what I need. Is the dlp compressor better than this kit above?

It's not dlp's, it's "Slime's" compressor. I would hazard a guess their compressor is just as good if not made by the same Chinese run of the mill factory
