To each his own, but why do that to a 9? You can't do that to a 9.

2011, Candy Indy Blue. I call her Cinderella...in the beginning, I had to be in before sunset. Not falling totally for the mod trap, just minor looks. She's plenty of bike, and I like it the way it is. I'll hit 13,000 after MAM, and working on a lot more.

Wasn't that a bike that somebody owned on here? I remember them posting pictures of what it took to add the fairing to it.

I don't think it looks bad. You get the protection the HD offers and still keep the performance of the 109. And imagine how many HD riders you could sneak up on and surprise the heck out of them with it.

I agree. It's ugly as hell on a Harley, let alone on a 9.

When I saw the pics he posted of this my thought was damn that's a lot of work. He did a great job of getting it to fit good. Hell there are guys that have put on aftermarket fairings that didn't get their fitment as good.

When you say "What do you think?" be ready for some honesty.
I don't understand it. The '07 LE is one of the best looking of all the 109's. Green? Road Glide? Sorry!
I guess it will generate a better reception rolling into a crowd of Hardleys on Bike Night.

Yes. It belongs to a member on here. If I remember right he chronicled the build in a thread.

Definitely needs hard bags at the very least. While I try to keep my comments as 'positive' the question that comes to my mind when seeing that pic is....Why?
If I were going the way of the fairing I'd get a Victory Cross Touring bike. However, if the owner is happy, what I think doesn't matter.

I don think it looks bad. I wouldn't do it. But it is definitely a clean install.

Needs some bags to balance it out

    Default I dunno!

Looks like its half way there, not complete, is this suppose to be a bagger? Where are the bags? Looks heavy on the front is almost like a big bubble head waiting to fall head first!

I agree. Bags would finish it off, at least. I like road glides, been riding them all summer from work, and really like the feel, and the stereo. But, NO POWER!! Making a 9 look like a road glide kinda fixes the no power thing! But, ya, it needs bags to even it out. I think the way I do it works best. Ride a road glide any time I want, at no cost, and when I want power and fun, ride my 9! Best of both worlds. I think what he did is really cool, but no way I could do that to a blue and white LE. Would have got another set of tins and kept the cool ones.

I am the owner of this bike. I did this to my bike cause I like the look of the road glide but i didnt like the performance of it. So being that my bike was paid for and I didn't want to spend the 23k plus or 38k for the Harley screaming eagle I thought why not try it on the 9. I wanted to paint fairing to match the LE scheme but the company Color right could not guarantee me that the paint would match so I went with house of kolor lime time. I love the bike it feels and drives the same. I know some people like it and dislike it, but its fine however you feel about it. Its something I thought about in my mind and I did it. One thing I feel strong about is that you drive whatever makes you happy.
