Default Swept Install...observations...UPDATE in first post ! Finished

Got my Swept Pipes today...Thank you Dan at Direct Line!!! Learned a lot about the bike during this experience:

    1) That Black harness connector was a real pain to unhook
    2) My stock exhaust does not have any gaskets - I plan on buying some before continuing the install, Cobra does not include
    3) The bones are staring at me...seems like it would be a really good time to install 2" bones while the exhaust is off.

Question: If leaving off the Actuator/cam stuff....do you just electrical tape the white and black disconnected circuits? And then of course learn how to do the ECU pin#7 mod...:)

UPDATE Friday after work...I tackled the Swept. Brought the M109riders forum out to the garage and camped on Lamonsters Dragster install and the Swept posts. Many thank for the insight.
    - I ended up leaving the CAM off. The whole bulky module just seemed like it would be too tight, wedged in there and not really serving much function. Thank you also for the reference for disabling the F7. Seems to have worked
    - It was pretty late when I finished but started it up for a minute...Cobra Swept pipes sound even better than I imagined...AWesome
    - will post some pics after thorough wipe down once it is light.

Yup, pretty much . I didn't install new gaskets when I did mine.

Your stock exhaust should have gaskets. Look inside the head. You might have to pry them off a liitle. If you're going to pull the wire off, might as well pull the assembly out. Its useless after the wire is off.

Lowering bones and swept exhaust don't go together...if you lower you'll end up scraping the chit outta the heat shield...
