Add this to the list of reasons NOT to use a Vee Rubber tire.

Maybe you were running it with little to no air pressure for a while. i say that because Nemo had one and said that tire was soooo stiff and did not look low when he had a flat.

Looks like that tire was sitting on the shelf for a few years before you bought it, tire rot.

Just tell her that unless you replace this tire she could be attending a funeral instead of a little less Anniversary, That should get the OK from her I am sure......

I'm on the dark side also and love it. The only thing I see with that tire is its not the same on both sides. You may feel a difference on one side or the other. If your going to go dark, just check that the tire is the same on both sides.

I got the NITTO NT 555 EXTREME ZR 265/35 ZR 18. Handles like crazy on dry road.

I'm at 7,000 and not a still looks like new. Why can't they put as much rubber as they do to a car tire? Sheeeeesh. Feels nice having all that rubber back there. Takes bumps real well also.

Nothing wrong with it, I think its made in 2009 the guys listed it second time last time i offered 110 he had listed it for 140$. He did not take the bid this time 6 hours left on auction end and he accepts my 100$ plus includes free shipping. I had a paypal coupon for 22.50 so real cost was only 77.50 hehehehee

The serations is slightly different i hummed and hoed about it for a while but dont see it affecting too much but worst case i can sell it back which i dont see happening. My tire ont he bike is 240 stock and still has lots of life left only has 2200KM on it this is for second set of rims i am getting custom painted i will load this on to that with Dyna beads. Will probably have 150 on front on that set. I get them back when i am back frommy vacation on Nov 17th, just about right time to do the mods in winter season when the bike is parked.

You're still good, but the clock is ticking...after 2014 it's going to be considered having used it's lifespan....good steal!

Look for the DOT # usually on the inside of the tire...the outside DOT doesn't have the date code....the last 4 digits are the date week/year sample - 3212 32nd week of 2012
