Ok so I am replacing my clutch... and we dropped the oil before opening the case... but there was suspiciously very little oil in the clutch itself. I am using Repsol 10 40 4t Racing oil... everything looks good... but the clutch itself looks oil starved... more wear on one side of the plates that the other and my steels were blue from heat... and there were wear marks on the steel. I wasn't gonna replace the steels but I am now. Any merit or reasoning to installing the newer Clutch Basket with more holes. I know that I have seen several threads about this but digging through the massive amount of data on here is well... taking more time than I have. I am a Chaplain with Downed Biker Association and I have a run coming up and my bike is clutch less. So any help figuring this out would be appreciated.

just passed 28k, still on my stock clutch. some clutch shudder on takeoff (about 30% of the time) but my clutch is still strong other than that
