    Default Sold my M109

Well I sold my 109 a few days ago and have mixed feeling about it. I have a lot of great memories of that bike and tons of pictures but it was time for a change. Strange feeling seeing someone else driving off on "my" bike! The guy who bought it seems like a person who will take great care of it though.

Not having a bike only lasted a few days. Just got a BMW K1200GT. Bike is very comfortable and has features that I wanted in a long distance touring bike. I plan on sticking around on the forum and if you guys don't mind, joining some of the local FL meet ups. Great community here with the 109 and I just hope I can find a group like this for the new bike.

    Take care and ride safe,

    Alex

Back in 2001, I bought a brand new K1200LT and it surely was a fine machine. However, I like to wrench on my own bikes and the Bimmers are very needy when it comes to service with the ABS and the valve clearances..... aka, not very user friendly with all of the special tools and computer diagnostic stuff you need. I had it for about a year and 12,000 miles and bought my 2nd Harley. However, a very very fine machine you have. Good luck!
