Thumbs up ***Uh Oh, I been at it again! ***

Yup, see what happens when you have too much time on your hands. I got a visit from the BBT last week, I wonder what they brought me

    Hmmmmm, any guesses?

A new FAT tire!! I went from a 250 to a 280!! YEAH BABY!! But wait, there's more.

I forgot to mention there was a new wheel inside that tire!! Went from an 8.5" to a 10''!

Of course I had to get a matching front

So today was install day for the front end. I put the rear on last week, and did the front today while finally putting on the Sumo X fork tubes and lower covers.

All back together, quick wipe down, but it needs a full detail!

I think I'm done for a lil while, (yeah right, at least for now.) As always, a big shout out to Harris for lending a hand. Thanks my brother!!!

Dam, what happened B your money tree in the back yard finally blossomed. Looks great, was the 280 a son of gun to install as far as being tight to the swingarm? Thats my next move after fixing the paint.

Mike, Scott, it started out as a PITA. I was really trying to get it in w/ as little disassemble as possible. Reading previous posts, just couldn't do it. Let the air out, tried slipping it in w/ the disk off, loosened the diff, different angles, different heights. Just couldn't snake it in. Quick phone call to my masterful sensei proved fruitful. I removed the diff, slid the wheel in place, slid the diff back in place. Got real lucky and got the driveshaft back in the yoke w/o having to pull the secondary. Turned out to be a breeze. I ended up spending more time fiddlefukking around trying to avoid pulling the diff then actually doing it.

I'm curious about this a well. Riding impressions or differences on the new 280/160 (if that is what you are running) compared to stock(ish)?

I just put mine on this morning without pulling the diff. I have never been lucky enough to stab the driveshaft into the yoke without pulling the secondary.
I left my brake rotor off and jacked the bike up high enough so the right side of the swingarm was above the hub of the wheel. With the tire on the ground I was able to snake it in there and still had plenty of room to reinstall the rotor. It's extra work either way but the look is well worth it.
I'm only gonna say this one more time. Your bike looks AWESOME!!!!

Thank you. You know, I did try that as well. I just couldn't seem to find the right angle of the dangle. Oh well.

Hmmm, redoing? My wife would kill me hahaha. I'm pretty happy w/ everything I have done, I would like to go w/ either a down under bracket in the rear or just chroming the caliper. I'd also like to chrome the footpeg brackets. Add a few more LED's. Maybe do something w/ the intakes. Aside form that, not too much more. I think I'm pretty much done.
