For sure man! Once I get this exhaust problem squared away I'll be able to start removing emissions equipment and adding performance parts!

Nope. Horribly lean in the lower revs. Went off the chart and showed the max reading of 17.5.

I was planning on making a poll to see if everyone wanted me to dyno an exhaust and then with a tuner or the tuner and then with an exhaust. Sounds to me like we want to see what the tuner does on its own?

If you can afford to do it in steps, would be awesome

That's the plan! Thing is once I put something on, whether it be a tuner or an exhaust, it's on and I don't want to take it back off to get a dyno of just the other mod. That's why I was thinking of taking a poll, it doesn't matter to me what goes on first!

We'd just be happy to see your info. Greatfull for your help on these issues that from time to time pop up.
Either one first I think wouldn't matter. Lest see what everyone else's says.

with the power pro (auto tuner) you do not have to take it off and do not have to do anything when you change something and should fix you lean issue...

Since you have done a stock run and do not have intakes, then do the exhaust first. By doing the exhaust first, you gain the info of knowing what it has done by bolting it on and knowledge of the what the A/F ratio is. Then afterwards when you do the tuner, you will gain info over all that was previously done and any additional gains. In the reverse order, you get zero info of what the exhaust was useful for. Just my opinion.

No, what I'm saying is from here I can put on just one mod and then have it dynoed again. It's either:
    1. Stock > Exhaust only > Exhaust and Tuning
    2. Stock > Tuning only > Tuning and Exhaust

    I vote #2 also.
I think a lot of us would love to see just what the PP does by itself.

^^^This sounds like it makes so much more sense.^^^ For one, I read somewhere, and I will try to find it, that the PP by itself does not add anything to the equation, it just tunes. So, if that is the case, I don't know what kind of results would people expect to get from testing it by itself.

If you've got the time and the luxury of access to the dyno, then I say do this:

    Stock (which you've already done)
    Stock w/PP
Intakes w/PP (throw in some K&N's)
Put stock filters back in, swap exhaust, w/PP
    Intake and exhaust w/PP.

That way, you can see what gains each mod makes, and the intake filters are easier to swap out then the exhaust.

I think it's messed up because they were probably trying to probe the stock exhaust with the catalytic converter still on it. If it was really that lean it would have a hard time running.

My thoughts also, but another item comes into play---the SET butterfly, which comes in about the exact time the graph shows a decent AFR.
