Default You Might Be Addicted to Riding if ...

Remember that comedian that had the show "You might be a redneck if..?" I was wondering if anyone could come up with sayings for bikers? Such as, "You might be addicted to riding if you make two trips to the grocery store with the bike because your saddlebags can't hold everything instead of taking the car." or You might be addicted to riding if you register at your local dealership for your wedding presents. Any other ideas?

You tell the wife you're going to work on your day off to get a long ride in.

You find yourself doing laundry and dishes as a ploy to get some ride time in.

B I have accumulated 12,000 miles in the last twelve months due to these two excuses. Without them I'd be lucky to clock 120 miles in that ammount of time. So essentially, without the excuses I'd be an addict with no fix.

if you're in your car and think to yourself "how fast and what gear would I take this curve in if I was on the bike?"

Because up until this happened http://www.m109riders.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=159868 she thought my bike would be the sudden death of me. Now there is a light @ the end of the tunnel.

You might be addicted to riding if: You arrive back from a vacation and go directly to your bike for a ride BEFORE going home!

There was a couple time that, while out for a jog, I needed to look behind me in order to check for traffic. Instead of turning my head around to look behind me, my eyes just glanced to where my mirrors would "normally" be.

I've done that with my bicycle. I go for a bicycle ride on a lot of Sunday mornings and found myself glancing at where the mirror should be -- but isn't.

You are addicted if you have two nines and no car or truck and it feel funny getting behind the wheel of a car.
What other people think of you is none of your business.

The original thread didn't ask for excuses though. It just wants to know what actions might make you think that you're addicted to riding.... It seems that the thread got sidetracked though.

You might be addicted if you ride to the corner to check the weather.
