Question on stock pipes
I see a few people on the fourm with the stock pipes, but they have cut them down, looks great, I cut the baffles out and gutted them, but I would love to stay with stock pipes, but cut way down, does anybody know the price on doing that and who would take on the challange. I have a chance to buy a hard Krome side burner, cheap new still in the box for $500. but I would love to cut the stock unit first. Thanks

i recently cut the pipes off an installed scorpion tips from raw now these sound an look awesome

Bike sounds great, nice low tone, and not too loud but just enough, no problems , runs better...no programmer, but if U play with the air box, U will, it will lean it out...

I like the look of stock pipes. Love the sound. Deep. Its a nine sound you can hear coming for miles and know its a nine.
You can take it in steps. Ride a wile with each step.
Some one here on the forum is selling or was selling stock pipes, de-baffled not drilled. That way you can keep you new ones stock.
I like the road burner more then the side burner.

How restrictive is the stock pipe? If an aftermarket pipe requires a tune change, I would think that indicates a more free flowing exhaust which = more power. Anyone know, are the aftermarket ones crap metal with a fake chrome cover as well?
aftermarket pipes dont require a tune if you do just exhaust or just air not both
need fuel programer if you do both
