Default Running Rough after it warms up

    Hey all...
this just a started happening a couple of days ago..
Bike starts and runs smooth until after riding for a little while.. once it gets hot (about 20-30 min into a ride) when I stop at a red light .. it seems it wants to turn off.. and on a couple of occasions it has.. but it would start up right away.. sometimes I have to play with revving it a little to make sure it doesn't turn off.. this is not all the time as i would stop and sometimes the idle is steady and no problem.. I have about 17+ k on the bike and just received a new Fuel strainer which I'm hoping might help as I thought maybe its just struggling for gas... since when Im running the bike say at a constant 60 or it seems fine.. though sometimes i do feel like its running sluggish..

and this happened once... i went to second gear and kept the idle steady about 2300 rpm and it started to fluctuate.. almost as if I was revving it a little more and letting go...

A friend of mine at work who "plays" with all his bikes s=mentioned that it could be a dirty throttle body - Minimum air something else or other and mentioned that i should just clean it and it should help...

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what was the resolve..

thanks in advance for any input... and Ride Safe...

Sounds like your on the right track with the filter, change it and then we go from there if problem persist however we also need to know what mods you may have done that might be effecting the performance such as tre, fuel manager etc...

Have you ever added any fuel additive like Seafoam in the tank?

IT'S NOT ABOUT HOW FAST YOU GET THERE, IT'S ABOUT THE RIDE ITSELF. TAKE YOUR TIME AND ENJOY IT!!

Funny you should ask... just did this am.. rode to work.. seemed a little better but still same for most part.. (could have just been in my mine.. or didn't get to ride as much as to let the symptom evolve..) but i would think it would be an instant cure s it has to take a little time to use the gas and thus use the additive..(btw.. wasn't sea foam... standard additive that "cleans, make better use of gas.. etc...)

Just for giggles if you want to try and diagnose without really changing anything is to take the pc out of the loop and return it to stock fi. My pc3 went bad a few years ago and those were the symptoms I was having right before it left me stranded out of state. So if you could before changing anything try this if the seafoam don't help at all.
