Well, I reached a truce with the ex, and made my payment, so bike is still mine. Now that we've set precedent, I don't think I'll have any more issues, or.....you might see me on Judge Judy.
Anyhow, to celebrate the agreement, I changed my oil (on time) today.
Course, my attitude with her lately, I have to admit I have been riding the bike harder than I have in the past couple seasons. Combined with the hot temps, you have a recipe for more wear. In checking the magnets I could definitely tell. No excessive wear mind you, but I could see more metallics on those in a normal interval, where I'm not ragging the bike often. I'd say 75-100% more metallics. Keep in mind I'm not saying they magnets were covered, loaded up, etc. It's just a relative observation.
I ALWAYS have some level of metallics during a change, so I am not panicking or feeling like my engine sustained above average wear. I also believe those with near clean magnets ride like grannies, or are lucky, or don't exist.
Do your magnets give any indication how naughty you've been?
