Anyone know if something happened to Rainey??

I cannot get a hold of him. He won't answer emails or PM's. Anyone else had this problem with him? Hope nothing has happened to him.
I am trying to buy a night rider from him. I contacted him and ask if he still had them and price in the end of July. Two days later I got an email that said "Your order has been shipped and you should receive it is 7 - 10 days". I hadn't order it yet, or paid for it, or gave him a shipping address! I sent another email explaining I wanted to order one and to give me a price and a paypal address. He responded with the price and address 2 days later (August 2nd). I sent him the money through paypal that day, and emailed him that I had paid. August 6th I still had not gotten a conformation from him so I sent another email asking if he got it. No response. Another email to him August 9th and a PM through this site and still no response. I do not know if the night rider has been sent or if he has seen the payment.

I know he has a good reputation on this site, or I would not have tried to buy from him. I am concerned that he has not responded to me now in 11 days after at least 5 attempts to contact him. I understand there is a language barrier but not to respond to emails is inexcusable. Has anyone else had this experience with dealing with him?

As I said before, seems strange, hope nothing has happened to him.

Bro, give the guy a break, members have ordered $1,400.00 exhaust and he has always come thru. Don't think for a minute that he will rip you off of you $138. With as many e-mails and PMs that you have sent, he is probably trying to translate the first one. BTW, I hope he is allright--give it time.

His Facebook posts and pictures look like he might be on Summer Holidays so maybe he is away from the computer. Ben sent him a notice so you should hear something soon.

Not worried, just concerned. Not getting a response on an order (no matter how small) for 11 days after you ordered it wouldn't concern you? I was more worried that he never received the order or the paypal money, not that he would screw me. Just asking if this was a common problem with him or if this was unusual. Thought someone might know something about his situation that I was unaware of.

My guess is holidays he is very reliable and honest and bothers if its 10 dollars or 1000 dollars his reputation means everything to him and he sends stuff all over the world

Hi Jim. Like everyone else said, he seems to be on "vacation"(yes I'm American Holidays are specific dates every year that are celebrations, not random trips Canadians and British members.)I'm sure he'll get back to you soon.

You guys have a running back in Jonathan Dwyer. Just give him the ball more than 5 times a year and you will discover that he's a beast! I've watched hm since high school and he's always one extremely well.

Thanks everyone for the responses. As I said in the first post, I know his reputation on here is the best so I really wasn't worried about not getting the part, just thought it was strange he has not responded to my emails and thought something may have happened to him.
Maybe he doesn't like the Steelers or their fans. No worries, my bike is running just fine without the night rider so I can hang on while he is out living it up with his family.

dwyer is real good and rainey is real fast also and can break it at any time. i have watched him for quite awhile down here. he played for the florida gators. really fast. dwyer is good. redman is ok .. i dont know if mendenhall can do it any more he tore his knee up pretty bad. with a combonation they should be ok .

Dont worry. He dosent always respond to email. It took mine about a month to Receive after ordering. He had to make parts/fab some new parts but trust me its gonna be worth it. I never heard any person that ordered from him not to receive their order. Just be Patient. This time of year is also Typhoon season so that also could be cause of hold up

You need to know he's not a big online store with a customer service department: it's one dude with a few assistants cranking out the highest quality parts around. You probably got an automated reply that he forgot to turn off when he went on vacation.

FWIW, sounds like his communication could be better. How long does it take to send out a mass email or post on FB or whatever. Least the OP paid through Paypal, so if you guys are all wrong and he died or took off, this guy is covered.

Well I didn't spend "14 bills" on a pipe, only $140 so it's not that big of a deal to me, I was just curious as to why he has not gotten back to me. It was not listed on e-bay when I contacted him or I would have just bought it from there. Since then he did find time to re-list them on e-bay and has been on this site, but in almost 2 weeks hasn't been bothered or been able to find time to shoot off an email to me.
I'm sure the product will be worth my wait and I will eventually get it. Who knows, he may already have sent it and it could be on its way. Just bothers me that I have not heard from him and am not sure he even has the order.
Everyone is defending him, but if this was any other vendor (Direct Line) there would have been 50 post crucifying them for lack of communication. Just say'in.

Ah ok, I thought all he pretty much sold was pipes. Yep, the lack of communication would irk me as well. Vendor and brand preference on this site is a whole nuther topic.
