    Default TWO WEEKS OF EXCUSES FROM RAW DESIGNS!!!!!

    I ordered their swingarm on 27 july and still have not received it i have been calling for the past two weeks and each time something different its still being welded, or we only have one guy that welds for us or its being powder coated it it will shipp on monday heard that one twice!!! if your selling a product at least have one made and ready to go. or put on your website product made when ordered!!!! just PISS poor service from so many of these venders. ALL IT TAKES IS COMMUNICATION EMAIL, TEXT, PHONE CALL, OR SOMETHING!!!! is that too much to ask!!!

    Default couldnt agree more.

    I am amazed at some places can still be in business.

    I have never had dealings with Raw Designs...but I see it in alot of other places as well.
    Mod's
    De-badged, Throttle lock\Cruise, Brake Pedal adjustment, Drilled out baffles on pipes,
    backrest mod. De-beavered, and polished wheels from Gottatooz.

    I have only dealt with them on one occasion and it was absolutely horrible. the only product I would ever buy from them is their rear turn signal. Everything else is complete junk and way overpriced. They charge $250 for a set of turn signals that use double sided tape to stay on and they look average at best. But hey, people keep buying they will keep staying in business.

    i had the same problem with rifle on a shield,ordered it july 6 .they finally shipped it today and its 40.00 more then direct line sells it for.when i called to see if they would match the price of there own shield from someone else they wouldnt. if directline had it in stock i would have cancelled from rifle,but they didnt and im not waiting another 2 months,but will never again order from rifle and its therye loss cause im spending ****loads on this bike.

    Don't kid yourself Al, you will probably have to be in constant contact as we all know their r&d is not the best. Probably will have problems with the product for years to come.

    They the only game in town? If not, I'd dispute the charge, as the thing is most likely not even built. They won't be out a thing.

    Otherwise, yeah......

    Try calling your credit card company, few of them have price guarantee. You could get money back from them i think AE does have that option.

    I will probably get blasted for not going along with the crowd here but... I recently dealt with all of the above with great results...

    National shield- sent me new hardware for my Vstream because one of the original screws worked its way lose during a ride- No charge

    Raw Design- is sending me a replacement tail-light assembly even tho I purchased it from another manufacture who sold their product and no longer do because they copied their design...- again no charge

    Kurakyn- is shipping me a new stero plug assembly for their sounds of chrome product- again free of charge... They could not even pull up in the system where I purchased it from them.

    Garmin is replacing the hoster for my Zuma- Free of charge

    All had excellent customer service.... Are some of youbeing total D#cks when you call? just a question...

    i am usually pretty laid back about a lot of things but when you keep getting the same excuses over and over its time to get a bit huffy!!!

    I can't say anything negative about their products as I don't have any or about their customer service, but to me if I owned a company and I was reading this thread, I dang sure would of replied to OP & tried to see what I could do to make right. Instead they are here today tooting new bars & how hard they are to make, etc. to me I wouldn't want people to be slamming my company all daylong.

    Ive got heaps of stuff from these guys,shipped to Australia,on time ,everytime,...and thats better than the service ya get here Down Under
    sometimes.AND ...........its all cheaper.

    JMAKAMN, Since I do not know anything other than your screen name, I have to assume your's was the swing arm we sent out on Monday. I apologize for the delay. We were in the middle of a production run. It happens. In the future for yourself and others, my signature contains my email address for a reason...to be available to anyone that has questions or needs assistance. If I am made aware of an issue I can address it, but I can't if I'm not aware.
