That is the reason I bought the 9. I wanted to stop riding like that....well not exactly like that, but too many police chases to count.
My dream is to go and watch that race some day.

GP and WSBK riders are good, but these guys are the greatest motorcycle riders in the world.
Guy Martin is my favorite. I will go see this race in the next few years.

    totally!
I am almost always working on a bike. If you have questions and need an answer quickly, just call me. 317-507-0940. Always up late. There will be time for sleep when I am dead!

If you need a different navigator or GPS let me know. I'll go with you because I think Jordon has to go to the Prom!

    Default Just Freakin Awsome

2 police chases under my belt, shifting into 5th when the speedo pegged at 145, and we raced out in the country on the long STRAIGHT blacktops. That video makes me feel like a lil old lady in a wheelchair. That is exactly why I didn't ride for 20 years. Too much responsibility, and too little sense. I bought my 9 when I didn't have to dothat on a bike, and it still gives me a Perma-Grin! So Freakin Cool.

The whole premise is insane, the racing surface insane, the lack of safety insane, the riders insane.........

For the last 100 years, average of two deaths per year.

Even the best ever, Joey Dunlop, succumbed to this course after 26 or so wins. I watched Joey when he was alive, and it was amazing how humble he was.

Each man who survives this course, let alone wins it, has more balls than participant in any other land based racing series know to man. These guys could replace the whole of the land racing world in sheer bravery alone - Moto GP, NASCAR, F1, you name it.

Default You can ride this too......

Watched a special on this race and the Isle of Man. Their entire economy is now tied to this race and the 2 +/- weeks that surrounds it. They lose on average 2 a year of the profesional riders but they also lose a few less than professional riders as well. They showed a video of a guy missing a curve altogether and going right off a cliff. After the pro-races they open the whole course to anyone, on any bike, with any skill level. So..... if you're up to it , and can afford to get your bike accross the pond , this crazy course is open for business. If I start saving now.............. 2020 anyone?

You might be an addict .. haha! Consider therapy.

This is a great video. They edited it together and added just the right music.
