"Never get one of those Suzukis"
One of my co-workers let his brother ride his soft tail last month, while on vacation, and yep, is brother high sided it, and totalled his bike. He was looking thru his HD literature today and trying to figure out what to get. He told me his brother had suggested getting a metric bike, and maybe even a Suzuki cause they've always been fast. He kinda wrinkled his nose and said he didn't thnk he would want a metric, and probably never get one of those Suzukis.
I have a couple of pics of 109's off this site on my computer. I clicked one open and ask if he liked my kind of bike. He said WOW, thats beautiful, what kind is it? I told him I have had it a couple of years, and he said wow, what kind is it? I told him I have added more chrome, and pipes and v-stream, and risers, and backrest, and other things. Again he ask what kind it was and I told him was probably the fastest cruiser made. He looked me seriously in the eye, and ask what kind of bike I have. "One of those Suzukis".
While eating lunch several hours later, he sat down and said " wow, your Suzuki is beautiful".
Maybe the HD brain washing hadn't set in.
