    Default These Friggin bolts!

What are they made of? Butter? They strip so easy and the cost like anywhere from $1.50 all the way to $4.50 to replace

Which bolts are you referring to, Ian?? I"ve been replacing as many allen head bolts with standard hex head bolts as I go. We have a bolt bin at work, so it's not like it's costing me anything to replace them.

Are you tightening them too tight? I've had every body panel and engine cover bolt off mine multiple times, I even take them out a couple times a year and polish them, and haven't stripped one yet.

Invest in a torque wrench if you don't have one and if you do you should use it whenever you can get to the bolts. Saves a lot of headaches.

    Cool Bolts

Could be meaning the allen head of the bolts . Proper fitting, quality allen head/socket and the angle of approach is key.

Hey Greg, piece of cake bro! I use my battery powered screw/drill gun. Take the bolts out, then put them in the chuck and tighten, but not so much ya mess the threads up! Then i take any liquid metal polish and put a dab on a soft cotton rag, put the head of the bolt on the dab of polish and pull the trigger and spin it in the rag. I just a matter of seconds the head will look like its chrome! Try it, easy mod!

Yep, i have seen it, i cant ever plan crap in advance like that, just going to wait and see how it pans out for me with my work schedule, which there is none! Lol! But i do wanna go, always a blast ridding up in them thar hills! So time will tell bro!
I use Hot Flash or Sheene Genie to do all my polishing with. Both are great products. Sometimes i just put the dab on the rag on top of the bench and. Just spin the bolt with alittle pressure into the rag without holding it. Sometimes the rag will get caught up and could snag your fingers. So be careful bro!
