Default M109R minor hesitation when throttle not all the way open

Odd problem just starting occurring when not at full throttle. Bike will hesitate and run crappy every once in a while. Thought it was my gas so I added Sta-bil but problem still occurring. My bike has Vance and Hines Big shots with Holley intakes and K&N air filters. I have never had any fuel management system such as a power commander so I dont think that is the problem. Leaning towards purchasing a new Fuel Strainer. Bike runs awesome when giving full throttle! PLEASE Help!!!

first stabil is not a cleaner, it's a preserver. Try some Seafoam. How many miles, did this just start happening out of no where, or did it start after doing something to the bike? Running after market exhaust and intakes, you're most likely running lean

yas seafoam will clean up the system, and you are deffantly running lean wander if it is running extra hot since it is hot out and your are probably running way lean...

I'm fixing to run some sea foam through my9 just for 'maintenance'. How much do you put in our tanks? I put a full can in my F150 but of course there is a big difference in tank size!

I know it's a lot, but I usually put in 1/4 to 1/2 a can per full tank

    Something to consider....
If you are using typical gubment gas that has 10% ALCOHOL and have been running this "tank cleaner" gas for a while then what's left to clean?
If anything use something to minimize the effects of ethanol like Star Tron.
On another note I would definately check the fuel filter and while the tank is off drain it out.
Get a Cobra Power Pro CVT and install it.

If running bad at least a half a can if not a 1/4 of a can.

I have also tried seafoam I have used it two times in the last two weeks. I also used mechanic in a bottle from suzuki. It helped a little but still jerky at times especially when it is super hot outside.

Dude your probably running that motor way lean which is not gonna be good in the long run. Either go back to stock air intake setup or do it right and get some sort of fuel management on the bike before you burn your valves up and trash the motor.

I just received my Power Commander PCV yesterday, do you all think that will take care of the problem or should I still use seafoam every time I feel and change the fuel strainer?

Big-B sorry dude i didnt see your questions. It just started happening out of no where. I filled up with gas one day and it started happening and has been happening from that point on. I did receive my Power Commander yesterday and will be getting it installed saturday. I have 16,000 miles. Bike was running great up until about 2 1/2 months ago
