I had my speakers mounted on my bars, they were good to about 60mph, after that it starts to get a lil hard to hear, depending on your helmet and pipes. As for the bass, not much.

LOL Yeah, you'll get mixed opinions on this. I took mine off cuz it didn't fit w/ the new direction I took. But I enjoyed it while I had it.

I have the same system as the guys above and it is pretty good. I also have speakers mounted in my saddle bags. The only issue that I have noticed, is that there has been some filming on the chrome on the top of the speakers. I garage my bike, but I noticed the film on the speakers after getting caught in the rain this spring. Strange thing, I have been in the rain before, and never had a problem. I would like to try some chrome polish on the speakers, but not sure how the chromed plastic will work.

I think you took yours off because they looked like boobies on your bars.

i agree with they are pretty good for the money , mine is like the one you posted up but without the wired remote, I can hear it up to around 70 mph OK but around 80 not so much , I ride a C 109rt (big windshield ) with drilled pipes, not much bass they are only a 3" speaker . The only issue ive had with mine is one of the factory speaker mounts broke one day riding home from work.
I only use an iPod (nano)as my music source and i use that as my volume control also. If you look at the max and rms power levels they claim it has you will relise that they are off because the one channel puts out less power at max then rms . they have a lower cost unit that does not have that 3rd channel (for a sub) that I am not aware of anyone uses .
2008 c109rt . wolo air horn, gman tre, gman bully, kuryakyn cruiser pegs, tsukayu jumbo strong bags ,tsukayu 6x9 bat wing , hid head light, driver backrest, k&n air filters, m109 tach.
