    Cool Hacker mayhams

    Looking for anyone that has Mayhams on their 9. I need to smooth out the 2 thousand to 3 thousand rpm range and take the metalic sound out of the open exhaust with sorpion tips. I have tried the cobra FI 2000 fuel management and it helped but it is still there. Do the Mayhams by hacker fit the bill? Loud is not important smooth and powerful is.

    Loud is what you are gonna get with that pipe, nobody will want to ride on your right for sure. As for the smoothing of the power band I would recommend a fuel tuner that is a bit more adjustable then the one you are using such as the power commander 3 or 5 or the new Cobra power pro which is auto tune without having to add extra parts such as 02 sensors the way you have to do with the pc 5.

    Sorry I gave the wrong fuel management unit. I was looking at the FI 2000 when the power pro auto tune came out so I bought it. As for the Mayhams I am glad you sent the thread because I would only have liked the way they looked and not the sound. Back to searching for that perfect package.
