Not sure I am a fan of the tail light idea. Hated it when guys did it to their snowmobiles and I had to follow them. Maybe but most likely won't do that mod.

    Looks cool!

Is this a prelude to what the intake covers will look like? I think the intakes need the DUCK

I like it Len. Are you changing the color of your LED's at the same time? If so, there is a board member that does them.

Staying with blue LED's. By the time I put the ones I have on plus that board members LED's I should have 400-500 on the bike.

Nice Len! Good to hear you are doing better, and once again thanks for the awesome covers!

So where did you get this speedo cover? That is a great idea and something I think I would really like to do. Also I know there is a post somewhere on the boards that shows how to mod the leds in the speedo and tach, but for the life of me I can't find it any more. I see that you said you were doing blue, so I assume you have done this mod in the past... any pointers?

The covers are done by weblinger http://webslingercycles.com/Images/Speedo/index.htm
As far as the LED's I am not sure who does them. Ryan may be able to tell you that. I just forgot who does them. Used to know but my old age is getting the best of me.

thanks B, it looks like they only do up to the 2010 models. **EDIT** they actually have a separate 2011 section that I missed the first time through. This looks good :)

I know there was a how to somewhere on the boards... I don't mind doing a little surface mount soldering, but the pictures in the thread were helpful plus they had the actual part number for the leds that were needed. I'll troll through the boards again to see if I can find it.
