    Default Second Gear

Everytime i shift into third gear my bike jumps back to second, and also my left air cleaner keeps leaking oil.

We need more info to help you out! What year, how many miles? Have you missed shifts under power grinding gear dogs?

Someone with more knowledge can probably diagnose 2nd-3rd gear issue.
The oil problem sounds like a over fill issue. These bikes are very temperamental & if it is slightly overfilled, they will puke oil out of left air cleaner. There are several methods to checking oil. IMHO, the way that works best for me is cold method. You leave bike on side stand over night, before starting bike, you unscrew dip stick & look at it. If there is any oil on it in the normal range, you are good to go.
    Good luck.

    First to the site .
shift manly , if the forks are damaged it will not stay in gear .
your oil leaking is as others have said , to much oil in the bike
take off the dip stick and suck some oil out with a kitchen tool ,
if you have stock air filters , you'll have to replace them , they
cannot be cleaned out , might look into other oil filter brands ,
    some are washable.
Every Time You Lift Your Tank Beware Of This .

First, you have a bent shift fork and damaged gears (the gear dogs are rounded off) in the transmission. That really is the only cause of that issue.
Second, the oiling issue, can easily be caused by overfilling. If you have done an oil change and done it correctly, then you more than likely have to much positive crank case pressure due to unseated rings---not all that uncommon with this issue.
