    Default Bluetooth Intercom

I'm looking for a good, cheap Bluetooth intercom. I've seen the scala rider g4 and interphone f4. Is there a set out there that works well and doesn't break the bank? Trying to find something to tell the wife for anniversary or Xmas.

I have the G4, cheapest place for me was from Ebay. We don't use the VOX, we just lock the channels open.

Vote 1 for the SMH10 - no problems with volume for music. Perhaps DRE, as you have just got it, play with different locations for the speaker as they may not be close enough to your ears.

I have the Scala. Music is not as good as earbuds but works well with Iphone. Your wife can pair with her phone and you with yours. You can listen to different music if you want. Good range when you talk with someone else you have paired with. Easy on and of the helmet if you want to let your buddy use when the wife doesn't go.

Haha. That's funny? I'm looking for something to talk to my passenger but also take clear phone calls.

Again the SMH10. I rang a friend while doing 110 km/h (70mph) and he thought I was at home.

Price is always a factor when it comes to Bluetooth. But a cheap unit that doesn’t do what you want or not very well will just force you to spend more!!!

I have tried several kinds of Bluetooth units and filially took the plunge on the Scala G4. I love it!!!! Works well with the i phone, ! mile reach on the intercom, and it’s clear as a bell. The phone is nice and clear on both ends and I love that when the tunes are on and my passenger says something my music turns off till the conversation is over and then the tunes come back on, I don’t have to touch a thing. Same goes for the phone as well as a GPS.

I will be upgrading to the G9 as soon as the bank account lets me......AKA......the wife!!!!! LOL

You know it may also be the quality of my helmet. HJC is what I have with no chin guard or breath piece.
Get what you pay for right? The SENA is a good product. Swatcop used the other headset and his worked fine, my wife's. He has a Shoe helmet. Yeah so for the price of $299.00 for two pair, you can't go wrong.
