Default New mods and a WTF moment..lol

Well guys I went and pulled the trigger and got a powerpro tuner. Picked my bike up from the shop and ran the piss out of it home.Ran great... more power dont know yet. But I didnt feel any flat spots when I took off. She purred real good, did notice a different pitch from my exhaust( verlocity pro). But check this out. She rode good al lthe way home, but when I turned it off and started it back up the dam FI light came on. Tried to start it no luck. Ok.. I then took off the gas cap hoping that it was vapor lock. Turn key back on and bam no light..wtf. steady idle all good. has this every happen to any one else? Do you think that i tuned the key too fast and didnt let it cycle? i was turning the key back and forth playing with my new projector hid ( will post pics later)

But any way this is what i had done, bigger front springs from Racetech ( o yea they feel great seems to have better control in the front with my big arse on it..lol, projector HID( 55 watt) with halo angle eyes and devil eyes ( love it,cool factor will turn some heads even with lights on angel eyes can be seen). Powerpro love it on the ride home, bike did show a littel more grunt than with the PC3 but need more time on it to tell. Hopefully this week I can give you a better opinion of it come this Saturday ( hopeing to make it to the Wrench party in Beloit,Wi and meet some memebers)

But any one who had the FI light come when first installed? please chime in, Im curious to know if it went off and all is good. Lord knows i didnt want to go thru troubel shooting and taking it apart.

I had a similar problem once trying to cycle the key to many times and then not letting everything "spin" up so to speak and the ight came on. Let it sit and tried again and all was well.

Just curious about the Racetech suspension. What spring rate did you end up ordering, what all parts did you order from them and was it a pain in the arse to install?

I just typed in my weight and it gives you the size u need. I needed the larger ones but i think its all about spaces also. I had my Mech do mine. 110 for the springs and 100 installed. I can notice a great differnce in curves and cruzing. I'm 270 at 6 five. I always thought it felt a little to spongy in the curves when i ride.. I bottom out a few times but that could have just been a ruff rd. But on corners I didn't like. That me and Rckfdridder both had them done so this week we will give a report when we ride... Also we both ran vesra brakes I like them
