Shark Audio unit .....Save your money!

I recently purchased an audio unit from Shark Audio. I can honestly say..it is a POS! Worked for 2 minutes and quit working. I contacted Shark Audio via email since that is the ONLY way you can get in touch with them. And NEVER received a reply back. I asked to return the amp for inspection and again not a return email.

So...IF you are thinking of buying one of these...DON'T! Save your money and get something that works.

Pretty disappointed in their customer service. They lost me for a return customer and I will tell everyone that ask about them the same.

I had one on my sport bike, it was the crappy wire leads on the volume control module that had come loose.. Check it out, only takes a couple screws and a resolder. But i agree if u want to hear your music with any sort of quality stay away from these. They are ok in the parking lot, but not much else

I'll disagree. I have had 3 different ones with no issues from any of them.

I have had mine for over a year now, and I am completely satisfied with the sound and quality. Not a very expensive system, but worth more than I paid. My only thing is that I wish the speakers were a little smaller so I would have room for a cup holder.

I believe this is my third year on mine, for 75 bucks I cant complain. I had the cup holder right up against the right of the amp. the amp has since been taken off the handelbars and the cup holder is where the amp was. facing foward (we will see soon as I get my farring back, It is out for repair I took a 50cal. rock at 80 miles an hour so It did some damage )

After an earlier recommendation from a post here, I bought one set. The one with the speakers in the mirror. Everything was okay except one of the little booster was loose inside. It rattle badly when the bike is on the move. Told them about it and they are more than happy to send a replacement F.O.C.
2 weeks now, still waiting for it. I must say, for that kind of price, it seems okay to me. Rode up to 70mph and I can still hear the music. And my pipes are pretty loud too.

One of the tweeters was loose inside, sent them an email.

Got a quick reply about sending me an replacement, sent them the order number.
2 weeks pass.
Sent them an email checking for an update, nothing.

They sent me a new set 2 days ago. One tweeter was good and the other is loose. Now I have a good set and is working fine.

I think those mirrors will look hideous on your bike. Well, any 9 for that matter. Patrick, the way your bike looks now, ear buds are now your only option to keep the sexiness of your modding efforts.
