Default Adding LEDs on Big Air Kit

I was in the process of cleaning the K&N filters for the air kit and thought of adding some LEDs. It's a simple and cheap mod. It might not be for everyone, but some might like it. Here is how I did it.
Remove the air filter housing by taking two bolts on each side o the filter(don't
Lose the spacer from the left side housing).
Pull a bit to dislodge from the rubber grommet( be careful not to pull much).

Using a Philip screw driver, loosen the screw on the back of the intake and pull the hose off, then remove the whole intake housing.

From here, remove the K&N and clean. While waiting for it to dry, go to hardware store and get some 5/16" x 3/16" clear acrylic hose and 4 1/4x20x3 bolts. Stop by Auto Zone or Pepboys and pick up a set of 24 Flex-LEDs.

Stick the led strip on the big air back plate and cut the hose to fit around the plate.

Make a small notch on the black plastic housing to prevent the wire
From being pinch and pull it thru the hole of the housing.

After re-oiling, re-install filter as usual.

Oh yeah, the 4 new bolts have to be cut 1/4". Don't need to use the old spacers.

thus the disclaimer above, lol. As to what few cops said to me, "We rather see you than not." If it's done right, the LEDs are not visible during the daylight. It sure makes a difference at nite, though.
