    Default Meancity Cycles saddle

Been feeling a lot of pressure on my tail bone lately with the longer rides. I know of a few places that do custom saddles, but I'm interested in this memory foam, double decker, 7 lbs total of cushyness(if that's a word) Anyone have the one I'm talking about and is around 255-260? Also, what's it like to adjust back on riding position? I have the orangutan arms, so the longer the stretch, the better. Thanks in advance

    ..
I removed the cover from my seat ,
shave the top 1 inch of original cushion
removed some of the original cushion and replaced with some gel pads and memory
foam from Walmart ( I know it is not the best memory foam)
the last picture is actually all the stuff that I put in the seat
put cover back on with 1/4 inch long staples and regular staple gun .
If I ride for 6 to 8hours I throw the AirHawk on top , no more back pain.

Lee at New Image Custom Seats in York, Pa will take care of you. Memory foam and plenty of tailbone and lower back support.

Wow that looks like quite the project. Looks like it made your ride height increase a bit

I have the Corbin with memory foam and I love it! A little more money but you can also get it with heat too! Took care of all the lower back problems and pressure. I can ride it all day with no issues and they look great too! Lots of really good seat choices out there for the 9 so good luck finding the right one and let us know what you get.

Big-B. the Mean City seat mods look good and are fairly reasonably priced. The Double Decker Memory Foam Mod looks like the best one for me. Which did you go for?

I did not notice about the height but it probably did just a bit ,
the area where my weight is concentrated is mostly memoryfoam
so it "squeeshes" down and forms to my butt ,
the thing I did notice was no more numb butt after 2 hours of riding .

Was the difference noticable immediatly or was there a need to give the Corbin seat break in time. Mine should be at the door step when I get home today.

Thanks Kaz for the pics and idea, not too savvy with cutting foam though...I don't think. Good thing my pockets run deep with lint, i'm going all in with the double decker from meancity.

Good to know they have a week turn around, thanks Big-B
