Default Cleaned up the front with a some freebie

Found a couple of cheap LEDs in my tool box, so I put them to good use. The aftermarket stuff are just too expensive for me. This only cost me NADA! Just 1/2hr of my time. I couldn't sleep anyway, hahaha.

All I did was drill individual holes for the LEDs. I had a 24 LED strip and cut off 6 from each end, since you can cut the strip every 3 LEDs.

Is that what you're using as turn signals?

Thanks Tigz, so did you flip them on the front and trace the leds? or is there a easier way to get the correct spacing?
Looks really good. I need to do this to mine.

Yeah. I taped the front and drew a line for the to make sure it's straight. I put the leds against the tr and dotted along the line. Drilled 7/32 holes and done.

Don't drill the hole from the back. The chrome will peel off from the front.

I'm currently drilling holes along the middle portion of the trim and will be using that as running lights. I tried using LEDs before as run/turn light, and it didn't work too well.

I used dual intensity moduals on the rear led strips on the bottom of my bags and that works great, but not sure about up front. doesnt the turn signal function in the front just interupt the power going to the bulb? so it would be on all the time and when you put the blinker on the power would be swithed on and off?

You can get them to work as Run/Turn lights, you just need two components: Eclipze2 Module and a M109 Flasher Relay, both from Custom Dynamics.

I have LED front signals that are also run lights, I used the parts I mentioned above and they work flawless.
