    Default new bike this summer

i'm a month or two from buying my first house!(the credit card trick worked!) i've been waiting a long a$$ time for this!

but now, riding season is around the bend and i want a new motorcycle!!! i'm keeping the m109r but i miss having a sport bike i'm pre-aproved for a house, i just have to get tax report from the federal/provincial gov. for 2010, once the bank has those, i'm making an offer on a house that i know i'm gonna have!

i just wanna put chances on my side so i'm waiting before i buy the new bike, once i have the house, i'm buying a new bike! and if for some reason i don't get the house, i'm still buying a new bike just not sure witch one

i had bad credit, left it alone for seven years then i had no credit witch is worst than bad credit, then i "bought" a credit card with a $500.00 limit basically put a g-note down as garanty on a credit card, then for a while i made my credit card payments like everybody making the minimum payments every month, my credit got better but not by much, so when i tried to buy a sports bike after my m109r last year, the finance babe @ suzuki told me that my credit was not good enough and even if i had a co-signer, i still would not be able to buy, it was the same for a house but a house i would've got it if i laid down 30% witch i did not have and they told me "you need a better credit score" that was last august, now with a $1,000.00 limit on the card and almost maxed out, i decided to stop making minimum payments and stop using my bank card and star using my credit card for everything ex.: gas, chips, restaurants, groceries, cigarettes, lotto tickets....and so on. so when my paycheck is deposited in my bank acount and since i have more money because i had insane pay raise since spring '10, i put the whole thing on the credit card witch makes insanely huge payments and clearing the card, then making a bunch of purchases ($500-$700) a week and a the end of the week pay it off and repeat the process over and over, my credit score went up like crazy and managed to buy a new car in december! did buying a car make my credit score go down? nope!!! because i continued doing the same thing with the credit card and my score went up! it was at 658 in december, now it's at 696!!! so when i went to the bank two weeks ago, i got the good news for the mortgage now i'm just waiting for gov. paperwork and crossing my fingers so after i deal with the house, i'm getting the new bike

Fk the banks. If your doing that. Why don't you build your house with out the bank.

If you go throw a bank you will not gain. The banks are out to rip the public off. After all that they have done people still go to banks. wow.
Build your house. Might take a while but well worth it. I built mine with cash and no bank. No note thank god. When times are ruff. Your looking good. All I have to pay is electric. And that i'm working on making myself.

Good luck at what ever you do.

95% of the general public are like sheep. They believe everything they hear. Once You believe that a credit score is important they might as well put a gun to their head. I think that the figure is in the 90% range for how many people live in debt. Credit card, mortgage , student loan, car loans, motorcycle, boat loans, etc. You end up paying 3 or 4 times what ever it's worth in intrest if ever you pay anything off.
Cut up your cards, save money and buy with cash. I sell multi million dollar yachts for a living and these people pay cash. Yes, once in a while I get someone financing but the majority of these people pay in cash because they know they have far more leverage in a deal when your are talking cash.
Do your self an incredible favor buy the book or tapes by Dave Ramsey. He is a financial guru who will teach you to retire like a millionaire . This is not through magic or selling door to door, it's common sense lessons on how to manage money they don't tech you in school. Dave has a saying. Live like no other and eventually you will live like no other. In other words, ride a bicycle and save your money untill you can afford to buy a motorcycle. Rent a apartment and save until you have enough cash to buy a small starter house.
I'm sorry for being long winded but many years ago this guy changed my life. I don't even have a credit card except for a debit card for gas purchases and an American Express card for on line purchases that I pay off "In Full" every month.
I promise you if you live buy this guys simple rules it will change your life.
first basic lesson after you cut up your credit cards, save in a envelop $1000.
    Put away $50 , $100 or $ 200 a week until you have $1000.
Now next time an emergency comes up, you need a set of car tires, your kid need a cavity filled in his teeth use the cash instead of pulling out the debt card.
You will thank me some day if you have enough courage to take charge of your own destiny and not be a sheep.

F%^&*k the banks. Don't be a sheeple,,,,,,,,,,,,The credit game is a losing deal...............They get their money to lend at 0%, basically. I want my TARP,,,lol

And this blew me away yesterday!!!

Damn could folks be getting it? And another glorious miss by the anal-ysts......

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/06/2012 - 15:41 Consumer Credit Federal Reserve
With expectations of a $12.0bn rise in Consumer Credit, yet another market 'economic' indicator flashes orange as the Seasonally Adjusted number comes in at $8.735bn - the largest miss from expectations in 6 months. Furthermore, using the Non-Seasonally Adjusted data, this is the largest sequential drop in 12 months (since the Feb 2011 plunge). While non-revolving debt managed to increase (though at a considerably lower pace) for the second month in a row the deleveraging that ended in Q4 has resumed following the end of the retail shopping season (as revolving credit contracted). Perhaps the same 'glitch' that destroyed Groupon, namely accounting for product returns, is about to sweep the entire retail industry?

I just sold my zx14 for another toy. It is a lot more comfortable to ride than the Busa, if you are like me and don't want a lot of weight on your wrist.

thanks for the replies guys, i am leaning towards the zx-14 but the busa is still an option i'll take a test drive soon on both, the frame in the back on the zx-14 looks perfect to instal a hitch for a trailer......yes i said trailer! come on now! 18,000 + plus members on here! your'e bound do deal with a few crazy motherf#cker$ once in a while!

as for the house, i have no choice to play their game for now, i need a house now not in ten years, if that be the case then i would pay for it cash! i just need my foot inside the house, as soon as i get it, i'm gonna put a fu#k load of cash on the side and pay it off within a few years....i'm not talking about a $250,000.00 house here! i'm a workaholic, i'm never home! when i'm not working i'm riding my bike, if it's winter time, i hit the ski slopes! so a house for me : one bedroom, one bathroom, the rest is a luxury, nobody ever comes over for a beer or whatever and i can't kook worth a ***** so kitchen/living room not important, the houses i'm looking at now are under $100,000.00 one i might buy is @ $49,000.00 another @ $66,000.00 and $89,900.00. so the banks are not gonna see a whole lot of interest money from me i don't want to take 30 years to pay off a house, i tried to tell that to my cousin, he bought a house a few years ago and he does not understand that in 30 years of paying interest, he's paid his house twice!!!

so i'll be a good little dog beggin' for a bone, sit, lay down, play dead, shake my tail, jump trhough hoops to get what i want......then i'll turn around and bite them in the a$$

I love mine and wouldn't give it up for nothing. Power, speed, storage and all day comfort for my long rides. Sure wish I had another 109 though.....I do miss that brute.

i think my mind is made up, too much good things have been said about the new zx14, plus, traction control? i'm down with that, i'm probably gonna try and fix it like my old zx12 so i don't kill myself

seasoned motorcycle experts took it on the track, watch their reactions it's too funny! you can tell they had a good time!

I've got an '07 ZX14...................best bike I've ever owned. Very comfortable (by sportbike standards..........it's no Goldwing) to sport tour on!
I've got a Sato Racing pipe and a PC III on it...........figure I'm pushing about 185RWHP into 530lbs. Scare myself silly with it anytime I want to!

I've just read two Busa vs ZX14 comparos. The ZX totally shut down the Busa in both. I'd say they're about the same in ergos so it's a wash there. Both groups of testers LOVED the ZX's new traction/wheelie control. All the testers ran way into the 9s at 155 to 159 MPH! They all said it was easy compared to bikes of yester year...............they DID NOT have to fight uncontrolled wheel spin or worry about flipping it over. Things that intimidate the **** outta me with my old school driveline! They also noted the only people who did not run faster with the traction system engaged were the Pros (like Ricky Gadsen). That's not me, or likely most of us. Seems an easy choice to me as the two bikes aren't that far apart on pricing. Good luck!

Remember! If it explodes and spreads flaming debris all over.....................get pictures and post them!

We are close in size (6'-2" 250 lbs.). I would say the kawi all day. I had handle bar risers and a sport touring wind screen on mine. If it were up to me, I would still have both.
