I installed my ATRE from TDE and now my bike idles from 100 to 200 rmps higher when in neautral. Is this normal? Also when I first start the bike it stumbles a little bit, like it's about to stall and then stops after a few minutes. Anyone know what this could be? Thanks in advance.

Only time I have heard of that happening is when the unit was plugged into the gas tank connectors - which uses the same type of connector as the Gear Emulator (ATRE).
Triple check that it is connected to the correct set of connectors. The wires coming in from the Gear Position Switch should be BLACK, PINK and BLUE.

Thanks to everyone at M109Riders.com for the excellent feedback and support!
We are not going to go through with building a Gear Emulator (ATRE) for motorcycles with stock indicators (i.e. 2011+). It would cost similar to Healtech's X-TRE.
International shipping is slow. We only ship internationally because there are so few companies that are willing to do so. It can take 4-6 weeks in some cases.
I double checked the connection. It's hooked up to the blue black and pink wires. I had no problems before the install. It runs good for a while and then when I come to a light and put it in neutral it starts idling a little high.
Well , there is this excellent how to :

and I remember there was one on the install on tank cover , but some said it was too low for the field of vision , I have mine installed on the mirror , but plan to shift as in the post above :

I replied to your email. We'll get it figured out and get you taken care of.
First time I've heard of this issue, as I personally test every unit before shipping them, so I'm curious to find out what might be occurring. However; I wouldn't rule out a conflict between the ATRE and your aftermarket exhaust and PC3 system. If your PC3 is tuned without an ATRE and then you put one on, it may cause the issue. I really can't say.
Maybe someone who has a similar PC3 and aftermarket exhaust then added a ATRE can chime in.

Well I tried some of the maps on the PC site and they all did the same thing. It would sputter a little bit
on start up and then idle around 200 rpms higher. I then disconnected the ATRE and it
returned to normal. I guess my bike doesn't agree with it. I'm attaching pitures of where I installed it to make sure it is the right connection.

Yeah I was hoping someone could chime in as well.
I put one on my bike sunday and it is great. Bike runs smoother and throttle is crisper. Idle is fine, starts just fine. But all I have on my bike is the Velocity Pro exhaust. Nothing else.
installed my tre from Trackday. No RPM change at idle, runs good will know more over the weekend when i do some highway running see how high i can take the shift points now.
