Default Sources for Paint, Polishing, Chroming and LEDs in Ontario

Here are the sources that we found at the Supershow. They all do great work from what I saw. If you have a source for something that I don't list, then post it and I will add it to the list. Hopefully this will be a great resource for Ontario riders if you are thinking of having something done to your bike.

    Seats:

!!!Ultimate Seats: www.ultimateseats.ca. Wow! Seats like corbins, but more comfortable and manufactured in Toronto for half the price! 1-416-742-6681 or 1-800-818-6868. This is where I will be going to get my aftermarket seat for sure!!!!

    Paint:

Wizzard Custom paint - www.wizzardcustompaint.ca Really nice work. He can handle anything you can throw at him. Saw his work. very nice.

Stoney Creek Choppers- www.stoneycreekchoppers.ca Really nice work too. Amazing graphics. Very nice.

    Polishing and Chroming:

Polishing depot- www.polishingdepot.com. 30 years polishing experience. The guy doing the polishing really knows his stuff. They also do chroming, but I would really want to visit them and check out more of their work, and ask about how they do their chroming: how many layers, prep, etc. to be more comfortable with that.

The plating House of Canada- www.theplatinghouseofcanada.ca Concord. Top Notch Chroming.

    Towing:

Motolimo- 1-866-211-1946- they have a special tow system especially made just for bikes.

    Tow-a-bike- 1-855-869-2453- same.

    Trailer Strapping:

Reinhart trailer sales: Has fork tiedowns for trailering. Caledon, ont. 905-846-1071

    LED Supply and Install:

JD customLighting- www.jdcustomlighting.com sales of LED lights and installation based in Sutton. During the winter up to march, he will come to you to do your bike. After that, you need to visit his shop. I saw his work, and it is top notch.

Ultimate LED- don parsons- 519-939-8499. he's west of orangeville in Arthur ontario. Haven't seen his work.

If you know of a shop that isn't on here, let me know and I will add it.

    Default Good info

Thanks for posting that up Chris....I was hoping to make the show for this very reason...these seat people,do they rework your stockers or make a complete new seat?didnt know about JD custom lighting in sutton, can't believe that since I spend so much time around there....

The plating house of Canada,in concord does some top notch chroming...do a lot of old classic cars and a ton of Harley chrome...high quality for sure

    Thanks for posting up..

No, they supply a new seat.
They showed us a 109 seat that had a fiberglass/foam hard pan on the bottom which is way better than the plastic pan we have now on the stock seat. Quality is excellent, and they do custom stitching, custom colours, materials and panels in the seats. They had tons of seats on display for all kinds of bikes. The guy was saying that they do most of their work by referral.

If you stop by there with your bike, they will even let you take a seat for a test drive on your bike!!!

I still can't believe these guys are manufacturing these high quality seats in toronto right under our noses!

Another person I've met through the motorcycle show is Lissa Hill of Lissa Hill Leathers
    she is located in Hamilton.
I've bought a few things from her and everything has been incredible quality. All her stuff is custom but prices are awesome. Her half chaps for men are great for hot days when you don't want to to ride with full leathers. Anyway, if you're looking for any new gear, check her out.

they make a very comfortable seat...only problem is if you don't want the backrest your still stuck with the flap on the top of the seat, they wont make it without it....not sure why

OK, here it is, you need sound:

I would say JD did a good job, wouldn't you........looks like it was worth every penny.

The picture posted above doesn't do it justice, but the video does

PS, if you can't see the vimeo link, you need to download the latest version of free adobe flash player for it to work.

Here's the old school link: http://vimeo.com/35451324

Yes, I still can't believe they are made right here in TO. It looks like they are based in Florida, but that is to appeal directly to the US buyers. Note the phone numbers of the factory (416 area code!)

Give them a call. They do custom materials, stitching, and panels on the seat. Pretty much whatever you want.
