Default It took 79 years !!!

My dad bought me a motorcycle when I turned 15 and mentioned that he would buy one too. Well that was 43 years ago !!!

Well at the ripe age of 79, HE FINALLY BOUGHT A BIKE
We went riding together yesterday and I turned him on to this site and he is now a member, please welcome Squeakin Deacon to the board !

    Way to go Squeekin'!
Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

That's absolutely awesome Dave! Congrats to your Dad and I hope you two get to enjoy a lot of rides together. Your Dad sure doesn't look his age either.

    And to Squeakin Deacon!

Now which one is the dad here! God blessed you so richly my friend... I sure hope you realize it! What a fantastic picture and story! May you ride safely - both of you. And truly with tears in my eyes, I would have given ANYTHING to have my dad with me on a motorcycle today.

    Blessings and keep us posted!

Default He finally moved up !

Well I rode with my dad multiple times and at 6'5" he looked small on his 650cc Yamaha.
I told him he probably needed a bigger bike, so he went out and picked up a Goldwing 1500cc.

That's a nice bike, hope you two get to ride together even more now!

Got to ask, couldn't you talk him into getting a 109?

Very happy for you and your dad!
One of my riding friends is a 74 year old teenager. "We don't stop playing because we get old.....We get old because we stop playing".

    Congrats to both of you.

Tried to talk him into a C109, but he got beat out on the one he wanted, so I'd say this is a good second choice
