I have to agree with you on that one.
If I was ever to buy another bike, it would be another 9.

You have to look really closely, but in this pic, there are two people squated down looking at the 9 and two standing by them.

I have yet to get a pic of the actual event, even though it happens a lot. But I had my first serious gawk session today.
Besides the usual double-takes and compliments from a LOT of drivers and pedestrians every time I go for a ride, a couple in their 50's walked out of their way on their stroll down the sidewalk, to check out my 9 while I was at a local coffee shop. They totally ignored my buddy's bike (felt a little bad for him) and the guy was drooling all over the 9er. Then the lady tried to pull the guy away, but he only had eyes for the bike, kept looking at it even while walking away - lol. Never seen anything like it.
Next time I'm definitely going to whip out the phone and get a pic...
2006 M109R burple, Vance & Hines Big Shots, debeavered, custom leather seat, footrests.
Caught this couple few days ago at the Highway stop in Croatia - he really didn't like her attention but she kept pulling him back .

And then same thing last nite at home town ( sorry for poor resolution ) - she kept explaining all technical details to the guy

So I went out for a little put with my buddy on his GSXR1000 and I have tried to catch people looking, but have not been fast enough. My girlfriend laughs her ass off every time I fail to get it. So when I finally got this guy it was like hitting a home run, and he was like what the hell. Then I told him about this thread.
Life is too short, live it your way.
Just seen this thread, so I don't have pics yet to contribute but I will try to snap some next time I am out. Something I found interesting is recently, I found out the place that I financed my bike through when I bought it, actually used pics of it for screen saver background on their computer. I found this out because a stranger came up to me in my hometown and asked me about my bike as he was looking to get a bike himself. When I begin to describe it, he told me he knew what it looked like, for he had been at the finance place to see how much they would loan him. When one of the girls found out he was wanting to buy a motorcycle, they told him "here is the kind of bike you need to buy", and he said they showed the screen saver pic on their computer. They then told him whose bike that it was. I was blown away by it, lol.
I must confess that even owning one, I still stare at them myself when I see them, lol.
I gotta share....sometimes when I get home from a ride and park it in the garage...I'll turn on the LEDs and turn the garage lights off just to stare at the bike. I ride it everyday and when I park it- I have to turn and LOOK at the bike myself. DAMN that is a sweet looking BIKE!
