maybe wednesday could work...
had a blast out at rt. 66 yesterday. ran a 12.53 @ 107 and broke in the tires pretty well. not too many other street bikes out there. maybe 3-4 rockets and one v-rod. pulled a wheelie on the last run which was fun.

I know a couple of you were looking to get together this comming weekend of the 24th, but with the weather looking to be a bit on the wet side, wondering if that has been rescheduled or put on hold?

I'm looking forward to some weekday PM rides once the weather gets more predictable. I try to get out every weekend as well.
Post up when you want to ride. i know we sometimes miss each other but if we all start posting again we eventually get caught up for some rides.
This weekend is questionable. I was planning to head to Motorcyle event in Aurora this weekend.

Was good to meet u earlier jim. Aside from being a bit chilly wasn't too bad. Probably will be a better turn out when it warms up.

I had the same problem when I first started riding the 9. Go for the 2-inch risers. I am 5'9 and this helped with the challenge. Changed my seat to a Corbin.
hchanges made the bike fit well. Can ride for hours now. I know where anyone interested might be able to pick up a good deal on the chrome risers with the holes in them. My neighbor is selling his 9 and had these for a mod.

Dino and I took a ride out to Cruise Night last night in Plainfield. It was a nice ride and I'm hoping we can do some more riding before the summer's over. Speaking of that, summer's half over already, and with the exception of Dino, I've only been riding with the rest of you guys once, and some of you I've never ridden with. Is it actually impossible to get together, or are we just not trying hard enough?Let's see if we can do something about that.

How've you been? I don't know how I missed this new post to thread, but I may be able to go out for a bit tomorrow. Wife is in the Dells and I'm on dog duty, so can't go too far. Leave for Montreal for a week on Sunday, so Saturday is my only shot.
Let me know. Maybe Timbo, Tony, or Tommy80 will want to ride, I'd like to check out this B-King in person. Haven't seen anyone in a bit other than Grampi and M109ner.

dud, I ride often by myself for about 1hr, a few nights a week. I agree it's not much fun. It's better to ride on weekends. Even for me this is a challenge bc I coach Fball.
