Auto zone $19.95 each, you can get these at any muffler shop. I looked at stainless but the color wasn't right, so I went w/chrome. The air kit is a little more involved. You actually have to cut 1/2" off of the back side of your stock chrome covers (a table saw w/med. blade works well) The backplate is 1/4" aluminum plate trace & cut w/jigsaw. Cover plate is 1/8" cut & pollish, paint, chrome whatever suits you

Filters are kn replacements for kuryakin skull or high five breathers
you can see I capped the hole in back the 3 dots in a triangle are the mounting screws (filter covers them). This kit w/pc3 put out 122hp/116tq
If you have anymore questions, I'm glad to help

I like this mod, may try it myself later. I do have a question. on the pipes, did you have them welded? If so, on the top pipe was it welded to the chrome part of the pipe? just curious. I am going to take a look at that raw tips how to later

Yes it is welded. The short heat shields in front of the muffler cover your welds, be careful when you make your cuts , it only takes about a 1/2" of heat shield to cover your welds. Take your time on the welds to keep the heat down, this will minumize bluing, GOOD LUCK, I want to see pics when you are done.

most certainly, although I will most likely have it welded by someone who is a professional LOL. by the way, any info on the brand of tips you used would be helpful, I am going to do a serach and see what I can find to buy online!

    Thanks

Can you post a step by step how to for the air mod. I am totally lost with what you wrote. I am still trying to figure out what an air box is. Why did you have to cut your chrome covers since they arent there anymore. Unless i dont know what a cover is either.

    Help!!!

i did my exhaust like this.they too are the stock pipes cut down.had talked to sicric and was going to do it like he did had tips in hand(19.00 each auto zone) but i like the rolled look of the stock so i gave it a try this is finished product.

they sound just like your pipes.may make another set over the winter an fix little things i did wrong.

My brother and i pull th baffles out and left the pipes long..sounds even deeper then what you have there..The bottom one i ground the tack off and pulled the sleeve off, the top one i just pulled it out. The pipes stayed stock..
