    Default Driving Lights

Anyone find an affordable driving light solution? $300 to $400 is ridiculous to me. I saw this on Amazon.com

Thumbs up Bike VIS Cree Lights

I have been trying to get guys to try these lights on here for sometime. These lights are high quality. The one's I have come on once the bike starts and turn off about 10 seconds after the ignition is off. They are in the U.K. but it took me 6 days for them to get to Florida. I was amazed at the brightness and the quality. They look like and feel like lights you would have expected to pay $400 plus for. i removed my reflectors from my front forks and got two screws that fit and used the bracket that came with the light. I highly recommend them. here is a link to their site-

I wish these were around when I bought mine. i would still like to try them as well though

A lot of us use these on the M109 you can't beat them for performance and cost under 20 bucks. I love them and they put out lots of extra light. All kinds of places to mount them on the bike as well.

Robert I have this exact set so just hook them up with a fuse thru a relay and switch that should be good?? Your advice greatly appreciated.

Yes, that would be the way to do it. Or if you want to forgo the switch, make the high or low beam the trigger for the relay and they'll always be on w/ w/e beam you choose.

That's what I did with mine thanks to your suggestion Bernie. Hooked to my high beam so that they are on when the high beam is on. Very nice set up.

Hey Aussie Ray post a picture with them lit when you get a chance. I was going to do it after I installed mine but I ran out of time while I was back home.

I like them. Anyone ever put extra Red LEDs on the rear of the saddlebags? Mine is a C109RT like Aussie Ray's. I was thinking about side lights and rear facing lights. LEDs because of virtually no demand on the electrical system.

I have an M109 but if I had a C109rt would probably experiment with some lights like these...I think they look pretty cool..they are pricey though.

I'm on my second set of these. They are nice and bright. Road debris has broken the lenses of both set.
That's the only issue I have with them.

With extra light, does it gonna eat up your battery quicker? I know your battery being recharge while driving. But does it charge fast enough whith more light ?

In an age of synthetic images and synthetic emotions, the chances of an accidental encounter with reality are remote indeed.

These lights come with their own bracket. What I did was unscrew the reflectors on each side of the front wheel. I took the reflector to the hardware store and found two matching screws the same size as the ones one the backside of the reflectors. I think they cost less than a dollar. I mounted the lights where the reflectors went.

The lights I got were Cree LED's (scroll up thread) they draw less power..follow the link I posted to their website and you will find power requirement info. I have not had a problem with mine and I don't expect that I will.
